Here you will find copies of letters, events and information regarding everything you need to know to ensure your child has a smooth transition from Y6 to Y7. Early Transition Day (Thursday 25th June)
For students with SEND, students who are worried and any other students who will benefit from coming on site in a smaller group the week before the main transition day. This will be a chance to get to know key staff, get used to the school site and try a couple of ‘taster lessons’.
Transition Day ( Thursday 2nd July)
Transition Day (Main) 8.25am - 3.15pm: Students will spend the day getting to know their tutor group, finding their way around the school and trying out some ‘taster lessons’.
Parent/Carer Evening - 3.15pm - 5pm: We hope parents/carers will join us with their child to celebrate their first day as part of Lift Broadlands, to hear how we will work with you to support your child over the five years and to answer any FAQs. Students will have the chance to do some activities whilst we speak with parents/carers.
